Ms. K is a 41-year-old female with recurrent ovarian carcinoma. She was diagnosed four years ago with stage III endometrioid carcinoma of the left ovary, underwent reductive surgery, and completed six cycles of cisplatin and paclitaxel. She finished her therapy uneventfully and underwent a negative second-look laparotomy 19 months later.
